I remember turning fifty and having AARP's membership mailing the same day in my mailbox. All I could think of was, "I'm not old enough to have an AARP card!"
Looking back on those "wow - I'm - fifty" moments, there's so much I wish I had thought about, especially in terms of health/wellness, financial health and the health of my folks. Instead, I did what we all do, wait until I really had to deal with the challenges.
Well, here's a program to help you start thinking about your future, before it all becomes a necessity, because the challenges of aging beat you to it! It's a FREE program series kicking off on January 16.
And just in case you can't read the type at the bottom of the flyer, because you're already well past fifty and your eyes aren't what they used to be, here's what it says...
All programs are free and open to the public and subject to cancellation or change without notice. Parking and Seating may be limited. Attendance at all four presentations is not required. You may opt to attend any or all four of the programs. To register call toll-free 866-413-5337, the Elder Helpline.
See you at the Library on January 16!
