In addition to a scrumptious luncheon with savory treats to enjoy, there will be a fashion show and silent auction. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite hats for the hat contest. Area experts will share information on caregiving, health and medical information and community resources.
"We hope to generate awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and other physical disabilities and how they affects caregivers, their families and friends," said Nancy Green-Irwin, executive director of the Friendship Centers in Lee County.
"It's also a great opportunity for business and organizations to promote their brand and increase public awareness as sponsors for the event," said Jill Mondell-Dion, director of the Adult Day Services program.
Sponsors so far include:
CORPORATE SPONSOR: Summit Home Healthcare products
GREEN SPONSORS: John & Barbara Dorsey; Friends of SFC; AAA of SWFL; Comfort Keepers, Health Force; Humana; Neuropsychiatric Research Center, Ft. Myers; Seniors Blue Book, VIP America
Sponsorships are still available. There are four sponsorship levels, and it's a great opportunity to host and decorate a themed table to share with key clients and friends.
