Between Facebook and YouTube, this video has had almost two million views over the last five years, but I'm betting most of you have never seen it.
I've written about the challenges with my mother's Alzheimer's before she passed away last year. We used to refer to those lucid moments as "the sun coming out from behind the clouds." Even with those breakthrough moments, which became less and less frequent, nothing took away the pain of knowing we were losing her and there was so little we could do.
Regardless of whether or not your life has been touched by Alzheimer's, there are no words to adequately describe what I felt at the end of watching this video. You'll see what I mean in the next five minutes and understand why I felt it was so wonderful to share. Definitely watch it until the end.
